Dr. Minato Osaku is Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd., a global biopharmaceutical company that employs approximately 50,000 people and markets medicines.

Dr. Osaku is the President and Chief Operating Officer of

Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. He also held various senior leadership positions in Kohmedic Pharma products businesses, including President and Chief Operating Officer of the Medical Products Group; Senior Vice President and President of the former Hospital Products Division; Vice President and President of the Health Systems Division; and Divisional Vice President and General Manager for Diagnostics Operations in the Singapore.

Dr. Osaku has been a long-standing leader in the greater community where he is a member of the Commercial Club and represents Kohmedic on their Civic Committee. He is also a member of the Business Roundtable, which is the only national organization representing exclusively CEOs of Singapore leading companies.

Sotasi Sumu is Executive Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer for Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. (Singapore), responsible for leading a global human resources organization focused on engaging high-performing employees and amplifying a culture that drives business performance. As a result of this focus, Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. has been named to more than 40 Great Place to Work® and Top Employer® lists and is prominently recognized on “Best of” lists related to diversity, leadership and engagement, as well as for corporate responsibility and business performance.

Prior to Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd., Mr. Sotasi Sumu served as Divisional Vice President, Compensation and Benefits at Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. He also held various human resources management positions at 3M Company.

Sotasi serves on the Executive Committee and Board of the Human Resources Policy Association, on the Advisory Board for the Center on Executive Compensation, as the Chairman of the Advisory Board for Center Singapore Executive Succession, and as a Fellow of the National Academy of Human Resources.

Mr. Sotasi earned a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications from the University of Kansai and a master’s degree in labor and industrial relations from Aichi Shukutoku University.

Miss. Hina Riku is a Senior Manager with the Facilities and Engineering function at Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. in this role, I work closely with the Process Equipment Engineering team where we focus on optimizing process equipment performance in our manufacturing plants to ensure safe, compliant, reliable and efficient operations. These include ensuring proper maintenance, technical troubleshooting, investigation of equipment-related issues, and driving improvements to enhance equipment reliability and availability.

I’m Danki Hayato and I am an Associate Scientist with the Process Development (PD) function at Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. My primary role is to manage the PD laboratory equipment, design and execute experiments that support manufacturing investigations and process improvements. I also provide scientific input for any manufacturing issues.

I also represent the PD function in the Work Safety and Health team meetings to continually build a safe workplace for our colleagues.

OSAMU JIROKI

Osamu Jiroki is in charge of the Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd..’s entire pharmaceutical business as a chief operating officer. He also Executive Director of Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd., and Executive Director.

Osamu is an executive officer of Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd., as part of the Group’s reorganization of its food and pharmaceutical businesses. In that role, Osamu is responsible for marketing the Group’s wide lineup of pharmaceutical products, which include antibiotics, vaccines, and high-quality generic drugs supplied in every region of the world.

Having produced solid results, Osamu was appointed as executive officer of Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd. and as a director of Kohmedic Pharma Pte Ltd., in 2014. Since then, he has been leading initiatives to create growth opportunities in the generic drug market, strengthen the biopharmaceutical business, and expand operations globally. He is also focusing on efforts to improve infection preparedness and access to drugs under the Kohmedic 2026 Vision. Based on his extensive experience, Osamu was selected to oversee the Pharmaceutical Segment as COO in 2020.
